The Florida State University Police Department (FSU) maintains a daily crime log, which is accessible to the public and can be viewed here. FSU does not publish the names of victims or any identifiable information.
The purpose of the daily crime log is to record all criminal incidents, and alleged criminal incidents which are reported to FSUPD. Not all incidents listed on the daily crime log are included in Clery Statistics.
The crimes included on the daily crime log are crimes which occurred on campus, in or on non-campus buildings or property, public property within campus, and property adjacent and accessible from campus.
All crimes that are reported to FSUPD and are within FSUPD’s patrol jurisdiction are also contained in the daily crime log.
In addition to the above, Campus Security Authorities (CSA’s) reports will also be included in the daily crime log. A CSA report is a documented incident of Clery Crimes that occurred within Clery Geography of FSU. Since CSA reports are not official reports made to the police department, FSUPD is unable to conduct an investigation.
Please Note- The crime log updates daily. During this time, the system will be unavailable for viewing for approximately 2 - 5 minutes.
The FSU Daily Fire Log can be found here. This log contains any actual fire incident that occurred within FSU on-campus student housing.
